Creative Direction
My creative direction work is rooted in visual storytelling that explores intimacy, identity, and cultural expression. Each project begins with a concept grounded in lived experience; shaped by environment, community, and emotion and develops through intentional styling, casting, and direction. I approach creative direction as a way to build worlds that feel familiar yet deeply personal, allowing narrative to emerge through detail rather than spectacle.
Iām drawn to real locations, thrifted and personal garments, and casting that reflects authenticity. These elements ground the work in honesty, creating space for softness, strength, and complexity to coexist. By prioritizing presence, posture, and atmosphere, the imagery functions as a series of visual essays ā examining womanhood, intimacy, anonymity, and regional identity with care and intention. Together, the work invites reflection, offering moments that feel lived-in, emotional, and culturally specific.
